FLAIR Dinner and Gala Awards 2025

On December 5, 2025, First Ladies gathered at Fairmont The Norfolk to celebrate milestones and the incredible work they are doing across diverse sectors, including innovation, gender equity and inclusion, and community engagement.

Graced by H.E. Joyce Kithure, EGH, Spouse to the Deputy President of Kenya, the evening reaffirmed a shared commitment to empowering women particularly in STEM, economic empowerment, and grassroots advocacy against Gender-Based Violence.

Keynote speakers including, Hon. Joyce Kamene - Woman Representative, Machakos County reaffirmed their commitment to pushing legislation that advances women’s empowerment at the grassroots level and addresses Gender-Based Violence.

Mr. Kimosop, Senior Economic Advisor representing Baringo County Governor Benjamin Cheboi, EBS, EGH also shared how Baringo County is providing platforms for women through economic empowerment programs such as the Ushanga Initiative and beekeeping, breaking cultural stereotypes and taboos that have long excluded women from such ventures.
