FLAIR Forum Team Pays Courtesy Call to H.E. Dr. Ida Odinga Ahead of First Ladies High-Level Forum

Nairobi, Kenya — The organizing team of the First Ladies of Africa Impact & Resilience (FLAIR) Forum & Expo paid a courtesy call today to H.E. Dr. Ida Odinga in Nairobi to brief her on the upcoming First Ladies High-Level Forum & Expo, scheduled for May 30, 2025, at the University of Nairobi, Chandaria Auditorium.

The team, comprising coordinators and representatives from University of Nairobi and partner institutions, presented the objectives and anticipated outcomes of the Forum, which is themed: “Impact & Innovation with Africa’s Visionary Women.” The visit aimed to enlist Dr. Odinga’s support and highlight the event’s role in accelerating women’s transformative leadership across Africa.

Dr. Odinga commended the initiative, underscoring the vital role of inclusive leadership and strategic collaboration in realizing the aspirations of Kenya Vision 2030AU Agenda 2063, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She encouraged the team to ensure broad participation from youth, academia, policymakers, and industry leaders.

The FLAIR Forum & Expo will bring together Visionary African Women, First Ladies, dignitaries, thought leaders, and change-makers to catalyze innovation, resilience, and leadership among women across the continent.
